About me

I am an Italian-Brazilian senior clinical psychologist and psychotherapist. I moved to Ireland in 2014, where I established my clinical practice in Dublin and online.

I hold a Doctorate in Psychology (Ph.D. and Psy.D.). I obtained my PhD from University College Dublin (UCD) in 2018, and previously completed two master's degrees as part of my postgraduate training in clinical psychology in Brazil. My qualification as a Clinical Psychologist has been recognised by the Irish Department of Health, and I am currently a Chartered Psychologist of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) in the Clinical Psychology Division.

I have extensive experience of more than 15 years in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults with moderate to severe mental health difficulties, including mood disorders, OCD, and post-traumatic stress disorder. I have particular expertise in working with neurodiverse individuals, and since 2022 I have worked closely with gender-diverse young people and adults, providing gender dysphoria assessment and holistic care.

My special interests include neurodiversity (ASD and ADHD) and gender diversity (transgender and non-binary identities). I also have a strong interest in supporting ethnic minorities and people navigating immigration-related issues.

I value the richness of working across different cultures and languages, with a strong focus on promoting mental health awareness and access to evidence-based informed care.

I speak: English, Portuguese, Italian
Location: Dublin, Ireland (In-person & Online Sessions)

How I Work

Evidence-Based Clinical Psychology A scientifically grounded, integrative approach that draws on the most robust research in clinical psychology to inform assessment and treatment.
Neurodiversity-Affirming Practice Working alongside autistic and ADHD clients with a respectful, strengths-based lens — recognising neurodiversity as identity, not deficit.
Gender-Affirmative Care Holistic, affirming support for transgender and non-binary people, including formal gender dysphoria assessment and ongoing care.
Trauma-Informed Practice Care that recognises the impact of trauma — including immigration and cultural displacement — and creates a safe, paced space for healing.
Culturally Responsive Therapy Working sensitively across cultures and languages, with particular care for ethnic minority clients and people navigating immigration.
