My name is Margaret and I would like to introduce myself to you and tell you a little about my qualifications. I have a degree in counselling & psychotherapy from PCI (personal counselling institute)  and am fully accredited with IACP. I also work as a supervisor which also required further courses. As a psychotherapist, we are required to continue our education and

I have completed certificates in cbt (cognitive behaviour therapy) helping to deal with anxiety, anger and violence issues. The rape crisis centre and many more. I mainly work in a person centred fashion but also use cbt when necessary and reality therapy.  I am a master in NLP (neuro-linguistic practice). Mediation is also on that list and I am also involved with facing forward, a restorative justice organisation.

As you can see I have many strings to my bow and perhaps I can help you to deal with your many life challenges.  We all need that someone to listen and be non-judgemental in that listening and even throw in some suggestions as to how to deal with life.

Why not take that first step to make your life more enjoyable and pleasant. I must assure you also that our conversations will be confidential and it will be your safe place to express your problems. I have worked with OCD Ireland in a voluntary capacity facilitating group sessions both with people suffering and their families.

I look forward to working with you in these difficult times. Thanks for taking the time to learn about me, now it’s your turn.
