"Rhea believes that a genuine client-therapist relationship is essential to the therapeutic process. And that our purpose is not predestined, but that we must endeavour to discover ways to orient our lives towards that which endows it with meaning."

About me
Rhea is a fully-accredited psychotherapist who graduated with a B.A. from the Institute of Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (IICP), Tallaght. During her course of study, Rhea completed a course in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST). She is passionate about music and creativity, and is also a transgender activist and LGBT+ advocate.
Since her B.A., Rhea has gained a wide range of experience working with anxiety and depression. She has trained in cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) and has also studied invisible addictions – gambling, gaming, pornography – and strengths-based counselling methods.
Rhea identifies as a transgender woman and strives to normalise and educate on the spectrums of gender identity and sexuality. She started practicing as a therapist on a voluntary basis in low-cost therapy centres in both Dublin and Wicklow, and has continued to develop her private practice since then in South Dublin and online with clients from all around the world.
Since June 2022, Rhea has trained in areas more specialised towards the LGBT+ community. She has also started to give presentations to nationwide organisations on subjects such as "Gender Identity: What Parents Need to Know" and "How to Support a Colleague Who Is Going Through Transition".
Rhea has previous experience in homecare, multiculturalism and work with people with intellectual disabilities. With a penchant for all types of creativity, collaboration, philosophy, beliefs and inter-spirituality, Rhea views Love and Responsibility as two cornerstones of human existence.
