I have a Diploma and Bachelor of Arts in Counselling and Addiction Studies, fully IACP accredited. Utilising different modalities of counselling where person centered counselling is at the core of my practice. I am committed to advancing my learning by upskilling on a continuous basis. The Modalities I utilise are: Client Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Behavioral Therapy, Integrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Reality Therapy, Grief Counselling and Spiritual Counselling.
Know that reaching out for help or admitting you need help is not easy, whatever your age or gender. You do not have to be in a crisis to look for help. I have vast experience working with people from all different backgrounds, with varying life experiences and difficulties. If you or a loved one has been affected by addictions, self-harm, or suicidal ideations, or dealing with everyday events, then I can help you work through these concerns, together we can help you find solutions that work for you.
I have experience of working in residential treatment centers, working with people dealing with substance misuse, having vast experience working with the families whom themselves have been affected by another’s, substances misuse. Working with adults with intellectual difficulties including mental health issues; depression, anxiety, self-harm, low self-esteem, and suicidal ideations.
My passion as a therapist is to help people find the goodness in themselves, while working with them to resolve and manage difficult situations in their lives.
