Biography
I am a qualified therapist through PCI College, Ireland. My former career was as a primary school teacher. I have a Master's in Special Education with a focus on working with children and adults with neurodiverse conditions such as Autism and ADHD. Previously I have worked as a student counselor with Griffith College Limerick and Clare Havan, an organisation that works with victims of domestic violence.
My work is with adults, adolescents, and couples.
I primarily use interventions such as Cognitive behavioral therapy, Acceptance, and commitment therapy, and Emotion-focused treatment in my practice. I also incorporate meditation exercises customized to the client's aim for therapy whether it is in building attention, calming a busy mind, or offering self-compassion.
I have a special interest in health issues such as infertility, eating disorders, and the range of hormonal challenges that both men and women face throughout their lifetimes.
I would love to hear from you, please contact me to ask any further questions.
