We cannot change the past or be certain of the future. Change can only take place in the here and now.

Qualifications:

As a fully accredited therapist, I have a BA (Hons) in Psychology and a clinical MA in Psychoanalytic

Psychotherapy from the Dublin Business School of Arts. I hold memberships with the National

Association for Professional Counselling and Psychotherapy (NAPCP), the Kleinian Association of

Ireland (KAI), and am a graduate member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI). I have also

obtained certificates in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Mindful Living. Additionally, I

currently volunteer with AWARE as a life skills supporter.

Approach:

In my work I incorporate a diverse therapeutic approach tailored to the client’s individual needs, to facilitate self-propelled emotional growth. Psychotherapy enables the individual the freedom to discover who they really are. It is the ethos of therapy that the more honest we are with ourselves, the better we can live our lives in a more meaningful and purposeful way.

In a non-judgemental, empathetic approach, I will help the individual to come to terms with what brought them to seek help – to allow them the space to work it out and say things that are difficult to say.

Specialities:

I have extensive clinical experience working with issues such as depression, anxiety, OCD, stress, self-esteem, domestic violence, bereavement, phobia, and psychological distress resulting from chronic illnesses.
