I am a Consultant Psychiatrist specializing in adult and later life care with Fettle. I completed my psychiatry training through the Trinity College Dublin, University College Dublin and University of Limerick training scheme in psychiatry. I am registered with the Irish Medical Council and hold memberships with both the Royal College of Psychiatrists (UK) and the College of Psychiatrists of Ireland. I have over eleven years of experience working for the HSE and held clinical roles within the mental health services in the Mid-West of Ireland and in Dublin South West. My area of clinical interest include anxiety and mood disorders, metabolic health, and neurodevelopmental disorders across various age groups.

As a practicing psychiatrist, I am committed to fostering mental and emotional wellness in all aspects of your life. I strongly believe that our happiness and well-being are shaped by our daily habits and the quality of our interpersonal relationships. Drawing from my extensive clinical experience, I understand that it is often the smallest, consistent actions that impart profound meaning and fulfillment to our lives. The journey to identifying and cultivating these actions varies person to person. My role is to provide expert guidance and support throughout this transformative process. Utilizing a combination of clinical insight, evidence-based tools, and empathetic understanding, I am here to support your journey towards a healthier, more fulfilling life.

Empathic communication is a vital cornerstone of care through Fettle, allowing us to deeply understand your perspective, needs, and emotions. By fostering effective perspective taking and acknowledging your individual experiences, empathic communication forms the bedrock of a care approach and allows us to prioritise holistic well-being and support your active participation in the care process.
