Hello, I’m Lorna.

I champion the view that “a successful therapy experience does not mean a client is cured, it means the person has the inner and outer resources to deal with the ups and downs of life”. I believe in helping my clients to uncover strengths and learn new skills that will allow them to deal with the challenges that arise in life.

My warm and engaging style helps quickly build rapport, putting you at ease. I use our connection to create an environment where possibilities and insights can emerge, enabling you to think differently, understand your experiences and achieve goals, accelerating your capacity to flourish.

I have a supportive, focused and practical edge to my practice and incorporate a variety of tools and theoretical models to help you make changes to mindset and/ or behaviour to affect the change you want.

I am a qualified, fully accredited Integrative Psychotherapist which means I tailor the way I work to suit what clients need when we work together. I have gone back to study for a BA Hons in Integrative Counselling and Art Therapy and where appropriate I incorporate art or creativity into our sessions.

I have over 14 years’ experience working as a therapist and coach in community settings, voluntary positions and corporate settings. I work on a one-to-one basis and with groups, both face to face and online.

I work with a range of life’s challenges including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, work related stress, burnout, overwhelm, work-life balance, redundancy, relationship issues, family issues, low self-esteem and confidence, bereavement, exploration of identity, trauma and anger.
