About me
Hi, I'm Janet. I'm an IAHIP-accredited psychotherapist working in private practice, supporting adults with a range of emotional and psychological difficulties. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and an MSc in Counselling & Psychotherapy. My approach is humanistic, integrative, and person-centred. I aim to create a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences, build self-awareness, and work towards meaningful change.
Before training as a psychotherapist, I worked in HR and office management, mentoring graduates and early-career professionals. This experience informs my understanding of workplace stress, burnout, career change, and the pressures many people face in professional environments.
Alongside my clinical training, I have additional training in suicide prevention (safeTALK, LivingWorks), neurodiversity in the therapy room, and life coaching.
I work with adults in a compassionate, collaborative way, supporting clients to better understand themselves and move towards a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.
