About me

I am a fully qualified psychotherapist with a Masters of Science in Counselling & Psychotherapy. Working in the field since 2018, I aim to provide clients with a safe and confidential space to explore personal issues. My training centred around a humanistic and person centred ethos meaning I believe that everybody holds the tools within to heal and grow. My approach is collaborative and supportive with a focus on accompanying and empowering individuals in accessing these tools.

When we experience early adversity or difficult life events we can find ourselves at a loss, grappling with deep feelings of unhappiness or emptiness, lacking connection to self and others. We can become at war with ourselves, void of any self-compassion and ruled by thought patterns that keep us locked in our pain. Issues such as low self-esteem, addiction, anxiety and depression can arise. In the safety of a confidential, therapeutic relationship these issues can be explored, in some cases for the first time…

We are complex individuals, consisting of multiple parts: mental, physical, emotional and spiritual. I aim to work holistically, integrating a range of techniques to help you get in touch with all aspects of yourself.

Therapy and the self-analysis involved can at times prove to be a challenging and painful undertaking. Reflecting on difficult past events or becoming aware of destructive coping habits or thought patterns can seem overwhelming. Sensitivity and understanding are at the core of what I do. Come as you are, and we will work at your pace.
