Hi, my name is Breda, Life isn't always easy, sometimes we experience problems that can cause us to feel stressed, anxious, or overwhelmed. Therapy can help you make sense of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. I offer therapy that is tailored to meet each individual’s needs. I provide a non-judgemental space where we can work collaboratively. I strive to empower you and bring an empathetic perspective to each session while using techniques such as CBT, REBT, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy and DBT to aid you in how you think, behave and feel when a stressful or anxiety provoking situation occurs.

I've experience working with people with anxiety, stress, weight issues, fitness goals, grief, chronic pain and with people who have been affected by cancer having volunteered at Cantalk Cancer, I've given psychological support to Limerick suicide watch volunteers and was a counsellor to people affected by family members addiction at North Star Family support.

I am an accredited therapist, I have a BA (hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy, BA in Counselling Skills & Psychotherapy Studies, BSc Science, Health, Fitness & Leisure, and HSE courses in Suicide prevention SAFEtalk, ASIST and Understanding Self Harm. Currently I am completing a Master in CBT.

Prior to becoming a therapist, I was a fitness instructor and personal trainer which gave me an insight into how stress, trauma, grief & emotional pain can affect us all both psychically and mentally. it’s natural to be a little nervous, I will try my best to put you at ease.
